You may not believe it, but while almost every American has an opinion on presidential candidates and discuss their campaigns everyday, majority of them don't know, what are the main policies of candidates, and even on what date the election day really is.

So after finding out this kind of statistics, don't you think, that maybe this whole election fever is just another vent of herd instinct? All media is prattling even about the slightest move of candidates, and make huge discussions of simple sentences, said by them. I bet your friends, work colleagues, relatives and people in the nearest bar talk about elections or candidates and express their opinions on different election-related topics at least several times everyday. So as all daily life and media is now entangled deeply in election topics, why shouldn't you go together? Undoubtedly, you have your opinion, and you care to open up about it. And that's a good thing...

...but do you care about the election itself? Do you manage to leave all this media swelled bubbles aside, and think of the really important things; like, what will be the future of the country, if Obama or McCain is elected? Do you think about what each of them really will do, and how will each of them rule our country, and not just about those things they say/do/are gossiped to have said/done?

Shouldn't your favorite candidate be chosen after such contemplations, and not after impressions of campaigning? I don't have to tell you, that political campaigning is a sphere of marketing, public relations and advertising; while all these are not always truth, although even in such cases the issued statements can become very popular and widely believed.
