Today, media has imposed a standard look, that is hard to achieve by majority of people. Especially for women - 90-60-90 is considered to be an ideal beauty canon for them. Started in the 50's, this paradigm is nowadays well-known as a norm of a perfect female body. Three numbers mean ideal measurements of female figure - bust, waist and hips.
However, 90-60-90 is not based on nature or traditions, just on expectations. We all know, where such mass persuasions link to - eating disorders, low self-confidence of girls and adult women, dissatisfaction of self image and many other serious problems.
So should we consider the 90-60-90 rule as an overall standard? Women, who are near these numbers, really look very good. Or should we try to live without edging ourselves into silly standards that show nothing more about a person, only some centimeters?

i think that numbers make no difference at all! Speaking as someone who has 90 60 90 measurements i wouldn't consider myself a 'perfect woman' and i know loads of stunning women who are no where near those measurements. Its about being healthy and having confidence not a measuring tape!

These measurements are in cm not in inches! In inches they would be about 34-24-34 inches. In cm would be about 86-60-86 but here it was rounded up to 90.
