Booker Prize is the annual award for the best original full-length novel, written in English and by a citizen of the Commonwealth of Nations or Ireland.
The prize is important for the literature community, as the winner is generally assured of international success.
Our favorites of 2008 are Ghosh and Barry - do you think any of them will win the prize? If not, tell us, what are your predictions.
The winner will be selected and announced on October 14.
Update: Man Booker Prize of 2008 was surprisingly awarded to Adiga, a debut novelist from India.
