Nope, we are not on holiday. Just maybe more into all that summer business :) Though as we started to contemplate on how to celebrate the upcoming one-year anniversary of VoteTheDay, some motivation to make a kind of present for our voters appeared. You really deserved this - in almost one year we got nearly 30,000 votes altogether! Some polls were more interesting, some less, but you really kicked ass, people :) So let me introduce you our present - the refreshed VoteTheDay!

As VoteTheDay have almost jumped into the second year of existence all the ideas from voters and our own mazy minds just had to be put into reality. The first sprouts you could noticed already yesterday:

* All closed polls are now placed into 'Closed Polls' category. This way they will not interfere with your browsing within open polls, but the results are always there to check.

* The supplement that we ourselves like the most is the 'Related Polls' booth - now you can see open polls, similar to the one you are reading right on the go. See more, vote more!

Today the most breaking news is of course this blog. We often wanted to comment more on our polls, to discuss some ideas and issues with you, to summarize the results of closed polls and overall - to keep closer contact than just in polls' comments. Also we frequently get questions, suggestions, prays for help and other rather interesting feedback that is absolutely necessary to show to you everybody and all this needs convenient space. So from now on, let's meet here, on VoteTheDay blog and have a talk, ha? Besides comments here, we highly recommend and appreciate you to subscribe RSS of this blog, so you will not miss all this fun :)

Some more minor and major improvements are coming today and tomorrow:

* The 'Share' button that will enable you to e-mail, print, bookmark and share information from VoteTheDay through various platforms, services, tools and networks in the net (Digg, Delicious, Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace, StumbleUpon and many more).

* Opening and closing dates of each poll are now visible, just for the sake of clarity.

* VoteTheDay Search is on its way - find the poll you need in a matter of seconds!

That was some work to do :) Hope you find it as amusing, as we were when doing it all. Now, we are off to the summer!
