The existence of astonishingly stupid people was always undeniable. It's hard to believe, that physically having the same brain, as the most intelligent ones, many people just are not able to think rationally!

I am sure you met those people - low IQ, slow perception of what is said, poor problem solving skills and absolutely no creativity. They are just plain dumb.

Some experts think, that this is all because those people just didn't get proper education. Their parents didn't encouraged them to discover things, didn't help to perceive the environment and the society correctly; moreover, they attended low quality schools, and never got to college. Now it is kind of hard for them to make burgers in some fast food restaurant, but with some effort, they manage to understand, what they are doing, and in what sequel should they perform specific movements, if they want to make a hot-dog. And no problems or abnormalities, please - they are not able to cope with anything, that requires thinking. To remind you, I am not speaking about mentally ill people here.

Other scientists developed another explanation for this group of people. Their idea is based on a research result, which shows, that after some training, or special educational treatment, these people are not performing any better. Then researchers invoked some human science here, precisely - the good old Charles Darwin evolution theory.

So, have you ever thought of people, as the mix of human species with different thinking abilities? No, it's not about races or cultures, it's about evolution. As it always was, there are better adapted representatives of species, and ones with worse ability to adapt. This way we can see those irrationally thinking people as the impurity of whole human species, or as the inevitable oddments of evolution. There will always be some amount of them, but what is promising, that usually natural selection takes care of them, and they do not have a chance to spread on a mass scale.
