Politics has never been a fair game. It gets even devious on election time - power is a huge, highly beneficial and important advantage, and all competing sides want it at any cost.

But the same politics also has rules and traditions, has some ethical limits.

However, looks like year after year it gets not only more filthy with blather, chicanery and equivocating. Speeches, campaigns and even advertisements became truly dishonest, misleading and containing open lies. Ethics is forgotten, limits denied, and everything is slipping outwards normal bounds. The wheel keeps turning, because media and society slips together with politics. Nothing is sacred anymore...

Now we all are following Presidential Campaigning. This year it is one big game of lying and rumoring. Unwritten rules of respect to competitor and honesty to electorate are no longer valid.

Do you think that Presidential Campaigning is exceptionally dirty this year? Or does it only looks so, because everything is happening now, because everything is so fresh?

Or maybe it should be so - the one who is smarter and dirtier, is a winner? And after elections we just should forget all false accusations, lies and smearing?
